LOCKING SCREW
The locking screws provides fixation both distally and proximally in a posture such as to stabilize and permit perfect placement to the bone and nail. The locking screws hold true potential for impaired healing with a recommended delayed removal of the screws. The purpose of the locking screws are to principally prevent distal fractures as well as to interfere with healing further ensuring adequate fixation during tibial fractures.
TIBIA NAILS
The A&O tibia nail is designated for fractures in the tibial head or tibial shaft, comprises of locking screws consisting three to eight holes near the apex and the other end which could either be hollow or solid with the intention of protecting against any invading infection. Each of the nails are oriented for a better amalgamation of distal and proximal fractures available in different sizes.
LOCKING PLATE SYSTEM
The A&O locking plate system aims for providing stabilization to articular fractures during conditions such as proximal or distal ailments in humerus, femur and tibia regions. The plate system is inclusive of a variety of compression plates amalgamated using a complete range of screws made of annealed stainless steel malleable to be reconstructed into anatomical structures matching the size of the long bones and pelvis for treating fractures in metacarpals, metatarsals, fibula and promoting stability.
HIP SYSTEM
The ultimate objective of hip mobility system is to provide ease of movement after surgery, accident or hip diseases. Also helps in easing pain after major surgery. These prosthesis compromise of ceramic and stainless steel materials
BONE PLATE
The A&O bone plate is for the ones struggling with osteoporosis leading to fragile bones prone to fractures. This implant may be used with a dynamic screw for providing stability of the bone as well as to bear the weight exerted on the afflicted limb also facilitating osteosynthesis for quicker rehabilitation of patients.
NAILING SYSTEM
AO nailing system available in both stainless steel and Titanium ensures a solid interface between the nail and the bone. This stable structure helps in embedding the the nails to the bones in case the bone quality is poor or is damaged.
Wires and clamps
AO clamps are designed specially to target the ailment of complex acetabular fractures. This is a specialized equipment for hip and femur joints
